The Monroe Accelerator held an M/WBE Procurement Fair in partnership with Soulful Synergy. We pulled together some of New York City's largest agencies, procurement officers, and over 230 certified firms to have a candid dialogue about the barriers certified firms find themselves facing in the government procurement process, the resources available to address these systemic hurdles, and how certified firms can position themselves to pursue opportunities.

Soul City Network featured The Monroe Accelerator an episode three of People Power streaming on NBC Comcast, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV. Desmonde and Lindi of The Monroe Group discussed what inspired them to pursue careers in inclusive economic and community development, the hurdles they’ve found along the way to success, and strategies to build wealth within the communities they serve in.
